Cars are sold “as is,” no warranties. The best way to find out what cars are for sale is to come to the car lot located at 2800 W. Tennessee St. Tallahassee, FL and frequently visit www.goodwillcarsales.com. All prices on website subject to change.
All sales are cash only. There is no financing and no holding vehicles.
Goodwill is a full service dealer so we collect all the appropriate fees, including sales tax, license and title fees. Title is about $80, sales tax is 7.5%, tag transfer is about $10, replacement tag about $100, and new tag about $325 to $425. Out of state sales are handled a little differently. For instance, for Georgia sales we collect part of the sales tax and mail the title and tag work to the county you live in to finish it.
You will need a driver’s license and insurance coverage as required.
Goodwill sells most cars from the Tallahassee car lot within one to two weeks. The cars are priced well below dealer prices, many between $1,000 and $2,000. They also have handyman specials and cars that mechanics buy for parts. Like donated items sold in their stores, Goodwill does not give cars away. Low prices make them more affordable and income from their sale helps fund wages and expenses for jobs and job training for people with disabilities and other barriers.
