In 2010, Goodwill Industries-Big Bend teamed up with The Learning Pavilion (TLP) to enhance the quality of life and acceptance of children with special needs and their families. With over 100 years of experience supporting people with disabilities, Goodwill Big Bend has been instrumental in helping TLP provide the best childcare services in North Florida, particularly for children at risk or with disabilities. TLP is a place where all children, especially those with special needs, can flourish and thrive.
Through this partnership, we are able to make a greater impact in the community. Goodwill’s generous administrative support and fundraising efforts lower operational costs, redirecting more resources to help children and families.
“Round-Up” to Support The Learning Pavilion
Every day, Goodwill shoppers support The Learning Pavilion’s mission through the “Round-Up” option at checkout. By rounding up your purchase, you contribute spare change that directly helps TLP provide:
- Therapy Scholarships: Offering specialized care to children in need.
- Tuition Assistance: Helping families afford high-quality childcare.
- Early Intervention Staff: Addressing developmental needs at crucial stages.
- Parent Support Services: Providing resources and guidance for parents.
- Facility Improvements: Creating safe, engaging spaces for children.
This initiative embodies our shared mission to create opportunities, promote growth, and foster inclusion for all. Thanks to your generosity, countless children receive the care and support they need to grow, learn, and thrive.
