The Learning Pavilion

In 2010 Goodwill Industries-Big Bend, Inc. (GIBB) acquired The Learning Pavilion (TLP). The mission of TLP is to improve the quality of life and acceptance of children with special needs and their families. GIBB brings its resources and more than 100 years of experience working with people with disabilities to help TLP provide the best childcare services in north Florida for all children, especially those with special needs. Children who are at risk or have disabilities deserve a place like TLP where they can flourish and thrive.

“Round-Up” to Support The Learning Pavilion

When you shop at any Goodwill location in the Big Bend Region and “round-up” your purchase, that extra change goes directly to supporting TLP. Many Goodwill customers choose to “round-up”, costing them a few more cents, but the extra change helps provide the best care for children living with physical and emotional disabilities.

Each month, TLP uses the “round-up” donation to pay for extra stuff, therapy services, and scholarships for parents who cannot afford the high cost of childcare but don’t qualify for other programs.
